What is the HEELED Conference?
The HEELED Conference was created to encourage and equip God’s people to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ with exploited and trafficked women.
For three days you will be immersed with teaching from ministry professionals, preaching from God’s Word, and personal testimonies from leaders of strip club outreach ministries.
This conference is not only for established ministries; it is also for groups who are looking to start ministering to women in the adult entertainment industry for the very first time.
This conference is for anyone who has been called to be the light of Christ in the adult entertainment industry.
Liz Curtis Higgs has spoken at more than 1,700 conferences. Her messages are biblical, encouraging, down-to-earth, and profoundly funny, helping both sisters and seekers embrace the truth of God’s amazing, unchanging grace. Liz’s dedication to platform ministry has not gone unnoticed. In 1995 the National Speakers Association honored Liz with their Council of Peers Award of Excellence. Her alma mater, Bellarmine University, presented her with a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2005. And she received an Honorary Doctorate from Georgetown College in 2010. But what Liz cares about most are the women seated in front of her, first row to last.
Liz is the author of 37 books, with 4.6 million copies in print. In her best-selling Bad Girls of the Bible series, Liz breathes new life into ancient tales about the most infamous—and intriguing—women in history, from Jezebel to Mary Magdalene. Scripturally sound and cutting-edge fresh, these popular titles have helped more than one million women around the world experience God’s grace anew.
Christa Hicks is especially passionate about standing beside survivors as they overcome vulnerabilities, obstacles, and injustices to build dream-worthy lives. She earned her master’s degree from Liberty University, is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida, and founded Into the Jordan, an organization providing direct services to adult trafficking survivors in SWFL. As Executive Director of Anti-Trafficking at One More Child, Christa is grateful to share her experience as a second-generation trafficking survivor, her education, and years of growth as a direct service provider to continuously better the services available to people suffering from sexual exploitation. She uses a trauma-competent approach of grace, respect, and boundaries to raise-up teams focused on providing opportunities for healing and restoration. She enjoys reading and the outdoors, but her greatest joy is found in relationships with her husband Brian, her teenage daughter, and Jesus Christ, her Savior.

“This is the first conference I’ve attended where I didn’t feel any spirit of competition between organizations that were involved. The importance placed on prayer and the leading of the Spirit was refreshing and delightful.”
“The chance to learn from others who have been involved in this ministry longer than I have was amazing. For me personally, the fact that it was a smaller conference was also a huge plus, because it really gave the chance to interact both with people who were attending and with the speakers. Everyone was so humble and approachable and gracious in sharing their knowledge.”
“I loved seeing those involved in these ministries get energized and recharged by networking in this way.”
